Description
The Role
As the Analyst- Service Development on Tesla’s Global Service Team, you will be responsible for the preparation and maintenance of all project financial data and summary reference material for all the Tesla service centers. The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual who possess strong business acumen, effective communication and excellent organizational and problem solving skills. This role will provide innovative analysis & financial forethought on both the Income Statement and Balance Sheet in support of projects across the Service and Tooling team including, but not limited to everything from financial analysis of the tooling and equipment to the remodels and new store build out requirements for service centers. In this role, you’d be the one proactively seeking methods to streamline daily processes and procedures, providing critical support to the team.
Responsibilities
Provide detailed management reporting and analysis
Develop monthly and quarterly forecasts as well as annual plan
Analyze actual spend versus forecast and plan.
Drive continual process improvements
Collaborate with Operations and Finance partners worldwide to understand global and local trends and programs.
Develop finance recommendations and present findings to leadership
Manage financial performance, highlight trends across key performance indicators, and analyze anomalies to identify root causation.
Support the capital planning process, including business case development
Creation and maintenance of the team spreadsheets and documents
Strong organization, facilitation, and communication
Coordinate and work with Planning Coordinator to forecast costs of new and remodeled Service Centers
Support the Tooling and Engineering team to analyze the cost savings and total value add of new equipment and tools
Cost creation and management to achieve outcomes of the Service Center development
Maintains current information or data on new construction, renovations, and various remodels
Assists management in identification of problems, trends, or future space needs and makes recommendations
Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree preferred or equivalent experience in professional practice
Strong communication and presentation skills
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Clear track record of making a difference in the projects you drive
Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Ability to prioritize tasks to meet established deadlines.
Ability to troubleshoot.
Strong project management skills, with obsession for detail, a passion for quality, and a drive to deliver to deadlines
Excellent analytical, statistical and research experience
Must be a self starter who is comfortable working independently
